Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts is a university formerly known as “FH”. This type of university is characterized - in contrast to the research-oriented universities - by a more practical approach. It offers an innovative range of courses, short distances and interdisciplinary collaboration. A personal care relationship and practical training are particularly emphasized.
By offering English-taught study programs which are marketed worldwide, Coburg University is internationally oriented. One of the university preparation colleges of Bavaria (Studienkolleg) is located on the university’s campus. This institutionpreparesapplicants and prospective students from abroad for studying at all universities of applied sciences in Bavaria. Almost 600 international students are enrolled annually in Coburg.
At INTEND you have the chance to get to know potential employees in conversation and to make new contacts for future professionals. Participating in INTEND are foreign students from undergraduate and master's programs, as well as the preparatory course (Studienkolleg). In particular the international Master's programs Analytical Instruments, Measurement and Sensor Technology (AIMS) and Financial Management (FM) students participate. Some of the students already have professional experience. On their expertise, they have special country and language skills and can act as a mediator between the worlds.
